If you have an interest in seeing more of this collection, please let me know. There are many 8x10 pastel and charcoal sketches on pastel paper made over a three year period. This is how I came in contact with these amazing jazz musicians, and they gladly signed the pictures I did of them. When Ravi Coltrane came one night he liked the photos and pastels that I did of him, and he commissioned a family portrait for his mother, Alice Coltrane.
There are about 80 digital artworks which were chosen by jazz historian Ted Goia as illustrations for the website jazz.com.
None of these works were done for purely commercial reasons. I loved every minute of creating likenesses that I thought would please the wonderful musicians who created a depth of soul in me.
